Every day, more than 7000 babies and 800 mothers die from preventable birth-related complications. Most of them in low-resource settings. To contribute to reaching the global goals, Laerdal Global Health's solutions are available at a non-for-profit price for use in countries that have not yet reached the targets set in SDG 3.
Laerdal Global Health was established in 2010 as the not-for-profit sister company to Laerdal Medical, to help save the lives of more mothers and babies. Since then we have worked in collaboration with partners to train and equip over 750.000 health workers.
