Ange Marie's story - saving more lives together

When the Sustainable Development Goals were signed, few of us imagined that we would face the largest global public health challenge in more than a century. The past two years have been a challenge for everyone – but especially for frontline healthcare workers in global health. Thank you for your tireless work and commitment.
Prior to the pandemic, global health indicators were going in the right direction. But much progress has been lost – in the places where it was needed most, where mothers and newborns are most vulnerable. We have seen that progress is fragile, and we need to protect it. We know we can.
At Laerdal Global Health, we are building on 10 years of experience. We’re building on our commitment and the trust that’s been established with our partners. Our work together, like the scale-up of the Safer Births program funded by the World Bank, our collaboration with the American Academy of Pediatrics on new digital solutions, and making WHO materials available online are just some of our most exciting new initiatives.
We are extremely proud of the work we’ve done together, especially during this past year, and we're looking forward to the work that we will continue to do in the future.
